I started using my own body in a series Untilled (2010), and body/stone/water (2010). While my own body has always guided and informed my work, here it becomes an actual participant. In one of my first videos, Water over Stone 2002 I filmed the constant motion of water over stone. From the start, I felt that the stone resembled a body. I took the posture that echoed the stone and filmed it. Later, I juxtaposed it with an image of water moving over stone. I felt that through this process the body became an integral part of nature.

This video was shown at the exhibition Body/Transforming/Gesture at Galerie Joyce Yahouda, Montréal in 2015.
