Be’er

Be’er means well in Hebrew.

“The rich generative possibilities of reflection and inversions have been a long-time preoccupation of the artist. Be’er No 4. 1993, [cat 45], are two-part framed mirror ‘well’posits Safdie’s investigation vertically, reaching simultaneously “bellow ‘and ‘beyond’ the ceiling in order to ‘un-earth’ the luminous ’liquidity’ of the cylindrical vessel.”
