I started using my own body in a series of videos Untitled, 2010, and Body/Stone/Water, 2010. While my own body has always guided and informed my work, here it becomes an actual participant. In one of my first videos, Water over Stone, 2002, I filmed the constant motion of water over a stone. From the start, I felt that the stone resembled my body. I took the posture that echoed the stone and filmed it. Later, I juxtaposed it with an image of water moving over a stone. I felt that through this process the body became an integral part of nature
